FCS II Harley Quad Fins

I only have been able to use the fins on medium, 6' waves a couple of times. Aside from making paddling nicer as one does not have to waste time switching hands to keep the nose straight every stroke, the board holds nicely on steeper drops despite the board's length. Takes a little more pressure on the tail to maneuver than the stock fins.

In small waves, the stock fins are better. The Harley Quads just hold a little too well when trying to maneuver from section to section in the mushy stuff.

I'm 6'0 riding a 7'2 Harley Ingleby Moe surfboard. Harley recommended his XL quad set up. After trying the board with 2+1 MR fins, and trusted performance M size fins, I have to said that Harley was on the truth. This XL quad set up with the 7'2 is the perfect match. Amazing combination.

These are hands down the best Quads I have ever used. Currently I have them installed in a 9'5" HI Cruiser and have been surfing anything from knee high's to 6ft reef breaks. I cannot say enough about the speed, hold, and release of these fins this past year. This is my second set of quads and that is only because my originals got a bit dinged up when I lost my board surfing some waste high slop lol. Anyway, these fins make the HI cruiser feel much faster and performance oriented, especially when engaging the rails to make a section down the line. The hold I can get from these fins while on the nose is very surprising, quick 10's and long 5's are not a problem with these fins. I would argue that they due better than when I put a big single on the board. The fins release quickly and provide solid cutbacks and check turns when setting up. Check them out!
